Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an apoptosis inducing agent that contains a ceramid- analogous substance, and induces apoptosis relating to cellular metabolism, etc.
SOLUTION: This apoptosis-inducing agent is obtained by using a ceramid- analogous substance shown by the formula(R1 is acyl; R2 is a saturated alkyl; X is H, or ethanolamine phosphate or monosaccharide phosphate group) without additional treatment or in the form of a mixture with an appropriate solvent and/or an appropriate shaping agent, and is used for preparing, by traditional methods, emulsifide cosmetics or water-in-oil or oil-in-water type such as creams and milky lotions, lip sticks, foundations, skin cleaners, hair tonics, etc. The ceramid-analogous substances of the formula are obtained by culturing mainly bacteria of Sphingobacterium genus. The use of this apoptosis-inducing agent can control cellular cycles, and accelerate the metabolism of skin tissues by application to the skin as a cosmetic, an agent for external use to the like, thus developing cell activating effects.
