PURPOSE: To make a fleece band coil parallel precisely by providing a feed device that is supported pivotally around the rotating axial line away from the position 18 where the fleece band 1 contacts the web 2, and is made rotatable and adjustable in relation to the way the fleece band coil 2a forming a contact edge extends vertically or the way a vertical edge does.
CONSTITUTION: A feed device 3 having edge trimmers 12 extends at the right angles to a fleece band 1 or to a support web 2 in the fleece band feed range. The device 3 is supported pivotally around the rotating axial line provided away from the position 18 where the fleece band 1 contacts the web 2, being made rotatable and adjustable in relation to the way the fleece band coil 2a forming a contact edge extends vertically or the way a vertical edge does. This structure enables the fleece band approaching the web to be directed in the direction of a given lead angle, thereby making it possible to obtain an advantageous condition for contacting the edge of each fleece band coil to each other precisely. Rotational adjustment which changes the position from the way the fleece band approaching the web extends can be used advantageously.
