Abstract:

To provide an apparatus and associated method for facilitating wireless device reconnection to the network.

An apparatus (34) for the wireless device (12) facilitates reconnection of the wireless device (12) after loss of wireless communication connectivity for Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN)(16) or WLAN (14), and has a buffer (42) configured to store identity identifications (84, 88) of the wireless device (12) for the current PLMN (16) and the WLAN (14) connection and an accessor (54) configured to access to the buffer (42) in response to the loss of the wireless communication connectivity for the PLMN (16) and the WLAN (14).
