Title:
APPARATUS FOR AUTOMATICALLY STOPPING LIQUID SUPPLY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3461419
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent re-flow from occurring when a plug is opened by providing an exhaust adjust part which is a thin pipe including an inner cross section area approximately equal to that of an exhaust pipe and extending to a height beyond a supply side liquid face and by approximately matching a dispensing cross section area with the inner cross section area of a liquid flow-in side pipe.
SOLUTION: A liquid flow-in side pipe 2 is a water hose for a manual extraction pump 9 to be mounted on an oil reserving tank 8, wherein liquid 10 flows down due to difference in water heads. An exhaust pipe 7 has a lower end protruding to a position below a set liquid level height 10a of a liquid receive/ feed container 4, while a thin pipe 6 for coupling extends to a height beyond a supply side liquid level 10b. An inner cross section area of a dispensing pipe 3 is determined to be equal to a value of an inner diameter cross section area of the pipe 2 plus an occupied cross section area of the exhaust pipe 7 in order to smoothly feed liquid, while an opening area of a liquid dispensing port is set to be larger than the inner cross section area of the pipe 2. Thus liquid may not re-flow in when a plug is opened even if the liquid flow-in side pipe is not shut.
