Abstract:
To obtain an apparatus for freezing/drying a plate made of collagen or other biomatrix in which vacuum drying is simplified in technological and economical view point.
The apparatus for freezing/drying a product plate 1 made of collagen or other biomatrix including polysaccaride and thicker than 5 mm, preferably 5-40 mm thick, comprises heating members 2 arranged vertically in the apparatus. The heating member 2 is sandwiched between the product plates 1 also arranged vertically without touching but projecting therefrom by at least 5-20 mm.
