To provide an apparatus for brushing an animal, especially, improved so that a maintenance cost thereof is relatively low.
This apparatus for brushing the animal is equipped with a mounting unit 1 which is used for mounting the apparatus on a fastened structure, such as a wall or a beam, a rotatable pivot part 2 which is connected to the mounting unit 1, a frame body 3 which is rotatably connected to the pivot part 2 and has a hollow internal space 4, a brushing unit 5 which is fastened to the frame body 3 and has a drive axis 6 extending into the hollow internal space 4 of the frame body 3, a drive motor 7 which has a drive shaft 8 for driving the brushing unit 5, and a transmission element 9 which is positioned between the drive shaft 8 of the drive motor 7 and the drive axis 6 of the brushing unit 5 and transmits rotation from the drive shaft 8 to the drive axis 6, wherein the transmission element 9 is positioned in the hollow internal space 4 of the frame body 3.
