Title:
APPARATUS FOR CHANGING POSTURE OF RUSH IN SELF-LOADING TYPE RUSH HARVESTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH03236712
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To smoothly convert the whole rushes into a laterally laid state without damaging the rushes by adopting a specific construction in a nipping and conveying mechanism for reaped rushes and a hackling and grading mechanism.

CONSTITUTION: A nipping and conveying mechanism (C) is formed from a pair of left and right endless nipping and conveying belts 42 in a state or backward rising tilted state at a prescribed angle (α) and extending a prescribed action length (L) and the back-to-back surfaces of both the conveying belts 42 are used as rush elastic pressure nipping passages (P), which are provided with an uneven difference (H) in level so as to hang the rushes in a bent and urged state. A hackling and grading mechanism is formed from endless hackling and conveying belts 57 and 58 with projected hackling pawls 63 and 64 for successively adjusting the flow in a natural separated state without applying nipping force to the rushes and arranged in the left and right transverse direction of the machine body 11 crossing the nipping and conveying mechanism (C) in a relational state in which action starting points (e) and (f) of the belts 57 and 58 are faced to the back of the raising up mechanism (B) for the rushes.
