To provide an apparatus for cleaning the inside of a pipe which can safely and efficiently realize cleaning economically with good workability in a simple configuration when the inside of the pipe is cleaned by using a cleaning device.
An upstream side bypass pipe line 5 installed on the upstream side of a pipe 1, a cleaning device-packing pipe line 6 for packing cleaning devices A to the above pipe line 5, a backward flow-checking means 7 preventing backward-flow to the outside of the cleaning device A packed to the above pipe line 6, a first switching valve 51a, a second switching valve 52a and a third switching valve 1a are provided. Then, a downstream side bypass pipe line 8 installed on the downstream side of the pipe 1, a cleaning device-recovering pipe line 9 for recovering the cleaning devices A from the above pipe line 8, a cleaning device-discharging means 10, a fourth switching valve 81a, a fifth switching valve 82a and a sixth switching valve 1b are provided. Further, in the pipe 1, a measuring means for measuring the thickness of stuck materials on the inside of the pipe 1, and a first back-pressure valve and a second back-pressure valve for reducing pressure in the pipe 1 at the time of starting cleaning operation are provided.
