Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an opening apparatus capable of carefully opening and sufficiently cleaning fibers.
CONSTITUTION: In the apparatus for opening the fiber materials existing in the form of fiber masses, the fiber materials pass drawing-in devices (1, 2:26), for example, drawing-in rolls or a pair of the drawing-in rolls cooperating with dish plates and thereafter, the fiber materials pass the opening apparatus, for example opening rollers (pin rollers or needle rollers) and are then taken out to a processing apparatus. At least two pin rollers or needle rollers (3, 4) are arranged behind the drawing-in devices in order to carefully open and sufficiently clean the fiber materials.
