Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clean a plate to be cleaned automatically while it is reciprocated between a pair of roller brushes by passing the plate between the roller brushes and pushing back the plate by a hydraulic pressure cylinder arranged downstream from the contact point parts of the brushes.
SOLUTION: When a plate 3 stained with oil and others is mounted on a guide table 6 and pushed by hand between a pair of roller brushes 1, 2, a photoelectric switch 7 is actuated to open the cock 12 of a cleaning solution tank 11. A cleaning solution in the tank 11 is discharged, and the plate 3 passing between the brushes 1, 2 is cleaned by the rotation of the brushes 1, 2 and the cleaning action of the solution. After the collision of the front end of the plate 3 with a plate receiver 10, when the plate 3 is pushed forward with an air cylinder contracted to make the rear end of the plate 3 reach the contact point parts of the brushes 1, 2, the air cylinder 9 is extended to push back the plate 3 to remove the cleaning solution and others.
