Abstract:
To provide an apparatus which cleaves a raw material such as wood and bamboo in the fiber direction by rotary cutter rows into disposable chopstick-shaped strands and is free from the clogging of the clearance between cutter rows with wood scraps and the winding of the wood scraps onto the cutter rows.
In an cleaving apparatus, a raw material 5 such as wood and bamboo is cleaved in the fiber direction by rotary cutter 1 rows into disposable chopstick-shaped strands. Rotary cutters are engaged with at least one of rotary shafts 1C facing each other, and a moving body 4 moving in the moving direction of the raw material 5 is set between the rotary edges 1a of the cutters 1.
