PURPOSE: To improve recovery efficiency of uranium absorbing material by hanging down plural absorbing floors as sloping downward into sea, supplying the uranium absorbing material from upper part and arranging means for recovering the absorbing material from the lowest of the absorbing floors.
CONSTITUTION: The plural basket type absorbing floors 11 forming the lower face as sloping downward toward the center are connected with a supplying pipe 12 and short pipes 13 and hung down into the sea with floating body 3. The uranium absorbing material 8 and the sea water are mixed and supplied into each absorbing floor 11 through the supplying pipe 12 and short pipes 13 and the uranium absorbing floor 8 is sucked on a ship from the lowest absorbing floor 11 through a recovery tube 14. Water supplying pipes 16 are connected at outer circumferential part of the absorbing floor 11 and sea water is injected toward the center of the absorbing floor 11 at the time of recovering the absorbed material 8 and the absorbed material is shifted toward the center of the absorbing floor 11 and in order, dropped into the recovery pipe 14. Further, a shaft 17 is arranged in the supplying pipe 12 and rotating blades 19 fitted to the shaft 17 is rotated to stir the absorbed material 8. By this method, the collecting efficiency of the uranium can be improved.
