Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for the confirmation of the attached state of a furnace door capable of accurately confirming the adequate attachment of a furnace door to a furnace frame even in the case that there is variation in the steps between the furnace door bolt and the furnace frame hook.
SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with a lever 4 pivoted to a furnace door attaching and detaching device in a manner to abut on a furnace door bolt 5 of the furnace door, a measuring means to measure the position of the lever 4, a memory means to store the position data of the lever 4 abutting on the furnace door bolt 5 of a furnace door attached to the furnace frame in a correct state as standard position data, and a comparing and judging means to compare the position of the lever 4 measured by the measuring means in a state of abutting the lever 4 on a furnace door bolt 5 of the furnace door with the standard position data and judging a good attached state of the furnace door to the furnace frame when the measured data are nearly equal to the standard position data and judging an inadequate attachment otherwise.
