Abstract:
PURPOSE: To decrease the equipment and production costs by reducing the floor area occupied by an apparatus for vulcanization molding, controlling vulcanization time without making the apparatus larger and more complex, and improving the thermal efficiency.
CONSTITUTION: After rubber is injected by an injection station 32, a mold 10 is step-piled one after another. In the step-piled condition, the steps are moved in sequence downward, and the mold 10 is heated in a heating zone 41 installed in the course of the sequential movement to vulcanize the rubber. The vulcanization time is controlled by the passage time in the heating zone 41.
