Abstract:

To provide a continuous casting apparatus of a lattice body for lead battery which can restrain a casting defect caused by uneven supply of molten lead alloy onto a lattice shaped mold.

A nozzle 3 is provided with a flowing inlet 4 of the molten lead alloy, a discharging hole 5, a flowing passage connecting the flowing inlet 4 with the discharging hole 5, and a supplying hole 6 from the flowing passage to the mold 2. The cross sectional area of the flowing passage connecting the flowing inlet 4 with the discharging hole 5, is formed so as to enlarge from the flowing inlet 4 toward the discharging hole 5, and at least a part of the supplying hole 6 into the mold 2, is positioned at the position where the cross sectional area of the flow passage is formed to enlarge.
