PURPOSE: To prevent the breakage of a wire caused by the adhesion with a heating tube or heaped metallic powder in the heating tube and the leakage of the metallic powder, etc., to the following process.
CONSTITUTION: In the continuous heating apparatus 1 for wire rod, a first heating device 10 composed of the first heating tube 11 having a wire rod guiding inlet 12 and a wire rod guiding outlet 13, carbon granular material 14 filled in the inner part of the heating tube 11 and filling part 16 arranged at the wire rod guiding outlet 13 side of the heating tube 11 and filling ceramic granular material 15 and a second heating device 20 composed of the heating tube 21 having a wire rod guiding inlet 24 and a wire rod guiding outlet 25 and arranged with many recessed parts 23 at the bottom part and inserted with a carbon thick tube 22 are arranged in parallel. A direction changing member 3 for the wire rod is arranged between the wire rod guiding outlet 13 of the first heating device 10 and the wire rod guiding inlet 24 of the second heating device 20, and also, this part is connected to a non-oxidizing gas atmospheric part 2. By this constitution, the productivity in the continuous working process is improved.
