PURPOSE: To quickly produce a composite and to enable continuous production of the composite by arranging an injecting nozzle for different second phase to a cooled stirring vessel in an apparatus for producing composite by adding the fine different second phase into molten basal phase metal.

CONSTITUTION: At the upper part of the cooled stirring vessel 1 providing a cooling device 6 and a stirrer 4, a pouring hole 2 for the molten base phase metal and the injecting nozzle 3 for injecting the different second phase on surface of the poured molten basal phase metal, are arranged. At first, the molten basal phase metal is introduced into the vessel 1 from a ladle 9 through the pouring hole 2 and stirred with the stirrer 4 and held to the suitable temp. with a heater 5. By injecting the different second phase particles gas-carried from a powder supplying device 10 on the molten basal phase metal with the nozzle 3, the different second phase is mixed into the molten basal phase metal. Then, after making solid-liquid mixed condition, this is continuously discharged from the bottom part of the vessel 1. At this time, by changing rotating speed of pinch rolls 8, the discharging speed is controlled to control the discharged solid phase ratio.
