To provide an apparatus for continuously treating dug muddy water, in which a series of treatment operations from the operation of flocculating/separating impurities contained in the dug muddy water to the operation of removing the moisture contained in a flocculate formed by flocculating the impurities can be performed efficiently.
This apparatus 1 for continuously treating the dug muddy water is provided with: a flocculant throwing-in unit 2 for throwing a mineral-based flocculant 9 in the dug muddy water 10; a bath 3 having a muddy water inflow port 7A through which the dug muddy water 10 is made to flow in, an agitator for agitating a mixture 15 of the dug muddy water 10 and the mineral-based flocculant 9 to produce the flocculate 15' and a muddy water outflow port 7B through which the flocculate 15' produced by the agitation is discharged; and a compression/dehydration unit 4 for compressing/dehydrating the flocculate 15'. The agitator is composed of a high-speed agitating member 12 for agitating the mixture 15 at a high speed while involving the mineral-based flocculant 9 and a low-speed agitating member 13 for agitating the mixture 15 at a low speed to grow the flocculate 15' produced by the high-speed agitation.
