The device is provided with a control device 4A detecting an order of a user 1 for activating an apparatus 3A, a sensor 2 detecting ambient circumstances of the user 1, an apparatus effect information table 8 of data showing an effect in case of operating an apparatus including the apparatus 3A, an effect anticipation part 5 for predicting an effect which the user 1 will obtain by operation of the apparatus 3A from the ambient circumstances information of the user 1 and the data of the apparatus effect information table 8 of the apparatus 3A, an alternative method determination part 7 capable of determining an alternative method obtaining a similar effect in a predetermined range with an anticipated operation effect of the apparatus 3A, and having less energy consumption than that for operating the apparatus 3A, and an output part 9 showing the determined alternative method to the user 1.
