Abstract:

To provide an apparatus control device and an apparatus control method that can improve convenience of a user.

The apparatus control device includes: a change determination part which determines whether to change time shift time computed by a time shift time computation part 14; a notification part 18 which informs the user that time shift time which is computed first is changed when the change determination part determines that the time shift time is changed; a timer part 19 which starts clocking time when the change determination part determines that the time shift time is changed; and a confirmation reception part 27 which receives user's confirmation after the timer part 19 starts clocking the time. A time shift reservation is canceled when the clocked value of the timer part 19 exceeds a certain value before the confirmation reception part 27 receives the user's confirmation.
