Title:
APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING ELECTRONIC SWITCHING MOTOR BY POSITION SIGNAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2004271503
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a control apparatus for using a signal on the absolute position of a rotator for controlling the switching of currents in phase windings of a motor.

The control apparatus controls an electronic switching motor. The electronic switching motor is provided with a coder provided with both a main multipole track (2a) and a so-called "revolution pip" multipole track (2b); a fixed sensor (3) for supplying two digital position signals (A, B) and one revolution pip signal (C); a circuit for switching the currents in the phase windings of the motor provided with (2×P×N)-pieces of switches; and a control circuit for the switching circuit capable of supplying a switching signal for a changeover corresponding to a logic state determined on the basis of the revolution pip signal (C) or the position signals (A, B). The absolute position is acquired by a single sensor/coder assembly. A bearing and a motor provided with such an apparatus and a method for controlling such a motor are also acquired.
