PURPOSE: To facilitate adjustment of a control valve for controlling oil quantity supplied into a hydraulic cylinder for driving a ram.
CONSTITUTION: A digital ram control part 200 is constituted with a fuzzy control part 210 providing a fuzzy arithmetic part 212, membership function 214 and rule map 216, and a hydraulic servo control part 250 providing a directional change-over part 270, output part 280 and input part 260. Position at both side parts of the ram 20 are measured with liner scales 40A, 40B and the resultants are transmitted to the input part 260. Difference between the position commanded to the ram and the above measured positions, is made to positional error, and variation with the lapse of time is made to the proportional error variation, and the fuzzy control part calculates control output from these membership functions and transmits to the hydraulic servo control part. The hydraulic servo control part outputs the digital signal to proportional valves 50A, 50B to control the opening degree. Hydraulic oil is supplied into the hydraulic cylinders 30A, 30B at both side parts through the proportional valves.
