Abstract:
To provide an apparatus for cooling an exhaust gas that is increased in cooling heat removal ability with respect to an exhaust gas that is generated in pre-processing a molten iron, to cool the exhaust gas without lowing the temperature of the exhaust gas to a temperature lower than an acid dew point.
The apparatus for cooling an exhaust gas that cools an exhaust gas having a temperature higher than 300° generated in pre-processing a molten iron, uses, as a cooling medium, saturated steam having a low coefficient of kinematic viscosity with respect to air, and a large Prandtl number.
