Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for deciding the deterioration of a battery accurately.
CONSTITUTION: A decision section 6 comprises a first comparator for making a decision that a battery 1 has deteriorated if the no-load voltage VN of the battery 1, measured by throwing a switch 7, is lower than a reference voltage VS, and a second comparator for making a decision that the battery 1 has deteriorated when the difference between the load voltage VL, measured by throwing a switch 8 to connect a load R, and the no-load voltage VN exceeds a set voltage VDS.
