Abstract:
To provide an apparatus for decomposing a halogenated organic compound in which corrosive deterioration at a connecting part between its branch tube and its reactor is inhibited at a low cost.
An apparatus for hydrothermal decomposition 120 is equipped with a first reactor 122 which decomposes PCB at a high temperature and pressure and is connected with a branch tube 11. One end of the branch tube 11 which connects with the first reactor 122 forms a conoid whose diameter is larger at the side of the first reactor 122.
