Title:
APPARATUS FOR DETECTING INPUT TORQUE AT ELECTRIC AUXILIARY VEHICLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3954693
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect an input torque so as to quickly give an auxiliary power to a driving wheel at the start of operation input from the stopped state of a vehicle, in an electric auxiliary vehicle capable of applying the auxiliary power corresponding to the input torque to the driving wheel from an electric motor.
SOLUTION: A first magnetic ring 141 rotates along with a first rotary body 40 synchronous with an input operation member 37R. A plurality of N poles and S poles 143N, 143S of the first magnetic ring 141 are detected by a plurality of first sensors 151 at fixed positions. A second magnetic ring 142 rotates along with a second rotary body 48 synchronous with a driving wheel, and a plurality of N poles and S poles 147N, 147S of the second magnetic ring 142 are detected by a plurality of second sensors 152 of fixed positions. A control unit judges a rotational phase difference of the first and second rotary bodies 40, 48 by a combination pattern of detection signals of the first and second sensors 151, 152. At the same time, the control unit recognizes the rotational phase difference as an input torque, thereby controlling the operation of an electric motor.
