To provide an apparatus for disassembling and crushing a coil facilitating work for classifying types of the coil after crushing and capable of efficiently separating and crushing the coil in a short time.
In the apparatus for disassembling and crushing a coil, a driving unit 5 is disposed on one end side of a working table 4, a driving rod 6 which is advanced or retreated by the driving unit 5 is disposed, a breaking tool 7 with a front edge formed in tapered shape is disposed at a top end of the driving rod 6, a breaking tool guide 13 and a coil mounting base 15 are disposed on the other end side of the work table 4, a coil 1 coated with an insulator 3 is disposed on the coil mounting base 15, wherein the breaking tool 7 is passed through the breaking tool guide 13 and pressed into the coil 1 to break the insulator 3 by advancing the driving rod 6, thereby separating the coil 1 into a coil conductor 2 and the insulator 3. According to another embodiment, the driving rod 6 is retreated to separate the iron core from the coil 1 by holding one end of an iron core which is mounted on the driving rod 6 and combined with the coil by movable holder, and holding the other end of the iron core by a fixed holder fixed on the work table 4.
