PURPOSE: To provide an electromagnetic dispenser which eliminates need for a dynamic sealing by mounting a plunger so as to reciprocate between a closing position where an output stops flow of a liquid when exposed to the electromagnetic field and a retreated position for releasing the liquid.
CONSTITUTION: When a coil 46 is evergized, produced magnetic field forms a magnetic pole at an end 52 of a magnetic pole piece 50. Similarly, at a head 62 of the plunger 32, a magnetic pole with polarity reversed to the magnetic pole formed at the end 12 of the magnetic pole piece 50 is formed. Thereby the plunger 32 is pulled to the fixed magnetic pole piece 50. As the plunger 32 moves toward the fixed magnetic pole piece 50, a needle valve 34 leaves from a valve seat 36 to eject an adhesive from an exit 24. Further, a spring 56 extends between an arm of a holder 58 mounted on the plunger 32 and a step part 60 of an adaptor body 16. When the coil 46 is demagnetized and the magnetic field is attenuated, the plunger 32 is returned to the closing position by the spring 56.
