To obtain an apparatus for eliminating an invasion of a liquid into an interior by integrating an electric heating element with a cutout of a cooking surface without using an adhesive bonding, and providing high electric reliability, heat resistance, leakage resistance and the like.
The electric heating element apparatus has a ceramic carrier 3 having a high thermal conductivity at a cutout 3c in a cooking surface 2 made of glass-ceramics, glass, ceramics, metal or plastic. The carrier 3 of the element has an area 3a above the surface 2. The carrier is engaged with the surface 2 above the cutout 3c via the area, and is placed on the surface 2 via a gasket 6. The carrier 3 also has a further area on an inner surface of the surface 2, and is positioned at a place separated from its end face in the cutout 3c. The carrier 3 is further supported to the cooking surface operating as a contact part under the surface 2 with an area in a molded part 3b operating as the carrier in the cutout.
