To provide an apparatus for distilling molten metal with which alloy making components can perfectly be separated and which has a simple structure and is used versatilely by improving a vacuum pot consisting essentially of two portions, a melting crucible (5) disposed in the lower casing portion (3) of the vacuum pot a heating spiral (4) surrounding the melting crucible (5), a hat-like metallic vapor condenser (8) held in the upper casing of the vacuum pot (2) and a dripping trough (10) disposed between the melting crucible (5) and the metallic vapor condenser (8).
A measuring element (19) for metallic vapor temperature, provided with a filter element (16) and a filter (20) penetrating this filter element (16), is arranged in the opening part (15) of the upper casing part (6) at the upper side of the metallic vapor condenser (8). A filter cup (17) surrounding the filter element (16), a rear chamber (22) for coil and the upper casing part (6) are connected with one set of vacuum source (7) through respective vacuum introducing tubes (18, 23, 25).
