PURPOSE: To obtain a more compact objective lens-driving apparatus showing no irregularities in performance and high reliability which supports a lens holder elastically in a movable manner in a focal direction and in a tracking direction by a conductive elastic supporting member.

CONSTITUTION: Positioning recesses 10 are formed at both sides of a base substrate 7. An end part of an elastic supporting member 8 is positioned in the positioning recess 10 so that a leading end of the end part is even with a pattern-printed surface 7a. The end part of the elastic supporting member 8 is fixed to the base substrate 7 by a solder 9 in this state. Accordingly, a projecting amount of the base substrate 7 over the pattern-printed surface 7a when the end part of the elastic supporting member 8 is fixed is restricted to be small.
