Abstract:
To provide an apparatus for a dry part capable of drying both surfaces of a web to which a size liquid is applied.
This apparatus for a dry part is equipped with a size press 12 for applying a size liquid to at least one surface of a web, a single-row dryer 16 arranged on the downstream side of the size press 12 and respective vacuum rolls 26 to 32 installed among plural dryer cylinders 18 to 25. A dryer felt 70 runs around at least one of the dryer cylinders 18 to 25. A top felt is stretched over at least one of the dryer cylinders 18 to 25 so that a broke can be removed downward. An air cap 38 so as to blow air through the felt 70 is installed in order to dry the web arranged between the dryer cylinders 18 to 25 and the felt 70.
