For example, arteriosclerosis is judged to be progressing when the slope of the variation straight line 74 is large. Accordingly, since a plurality of related lines for correcting the pulse wave propagation velocity PWV to the prescribed blood pressure BP are not used, the degree of arteriosclerosis can be precisely evaluated regardless of the relation between the blood pressure BP and the pulse wave propagation velocity PWV of each patient.
