Abstract:
PURPOSE:To extract oil in a prompt and simple manner by use of a guide member attached to an oil outlet port located at the portion where oil filter is fixed and an oil extracting tube connected to the guide member. CONSTITUTION:An oil guide case 5 to be attached hermetically to oil outlet port 3 is threaded on the outside of oil returning port 2. Inside the case 5, there is formed an annular space 9 for passing oil. In extracting oil, case 5 is fixed on the outside of port 2 through engagement of external thread 2a and internal thread 6a, in the manner that packing 8 is urged hermetically onto the upper surface of member 1 to which an oil filter is fixed, and engine is started with oil extracting hose 11 being connected to oil outlet port 10. With starting of engine, oil is drawn upward from port 3 and flows into container 12 through hose 11, in the same way as an oil filter is fixed.
