Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the abrasion resistance of an apparatus for feeding a fiber material such as flock cotton and synthetic fiber.
CONSTITUTION: The objective apparatus for feeding a fiber material such as flock cotton and synthetic fiber to a spinning preparation machine such as card and cleaner is provided with sensor members 14', 14" moving according to the variation of thickness of the fiber material and a feed roller 1 controlled by the sum of the moved distances of the sensor members. The surfaces 2", 2' of the sensor members are formed to have abrasion resistance.
