Abstract:
To provide an apparatus for fitting a core with which one series of operations from the conveying of a pallet for holding the core to the fitting into a core detaching/attaching device of the core held in the pallet can automatically be performed in a centrifugal casting facility.
The above purpose is achieved with the core fitting apparatus constituted of a pallet conveying means 1 for conveying the pallet 25 holding the core 26, a core position detecting means 22 for detecting the core position in the pallet and a robot 15 with which the core in the pallet is taken out by receiving a data signal in the core position detecting means and taken-out core is fitted to a core holding frame in the core detaching/attaching device.
