PURPOSE: To make it possible to dry a granulated object obtained along with granulation treatment in good efficiency within a same apparatus, in a apparatus for granulating a powder by using water and a binder, by providing a microwave heater in the same apparatus.
CONSTITUTION: A powder is quantitatively supplied into a kneader 1 from a chute 2 and graulation is carried out while water is sprayed in a definite amount as a binder from a nozzle 4 by a pump 3. After granulation is completed, the granulated object is irraidated with microwaves by a micowave heater consisting of a microwave oscillation apparatus 5 and a wave guide 6 and internal heating is generated to perform drying. In this apparatus, heating efficiency is extremely good and uniform heating can be performed while a drying time is shortened to a large extent.
