Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a granulating and phosphorus removing apparatus by which solid particles of ammonium magnesium phosphate flowing out together with water to be treated are efficiently removed and recovered.
CONSTITUTION: An ammonium magnesium phosphate granulating tower 1 is provided with a wastewater pouring pipe 2 to pour wastewater containing ammonium ion and phosphate ion, a magnesium compound pouring pipe 5, an alkalizing agent pouring pipe 6, a stirring gas blowing-in pipe 3, and a solid particle discharging pipe 4 to discharge wastewater containing a large amount of granulated ammonium magnesium phosphate downward installed. A water-to- be-treated flowing out pipe 7 to make the water containing a small amount of ammonium magnesium phosphate solid particles flow out is installed further in the upper part of the ammonium magnesium phosphate granulating tower 1 and a liquid cyclone 11 to separate solid particles of ammonium magnesium phosphate from the water to be treated which is supplied from the granulating tower 1 is put side by side with the granulating tower 1.
