To provide a Koji (rice malt) substrate heaping-up apparatus of a rotary disk solid cultivation apparatus achieving uniform layer thickness of a Koji substrate heaped up on a circular culture bed, improved reproducibility of the layer thickness and formation of an intentional thick layer, and to provide a method for heaping-up Koji substrate in the rotary disk solid cultivation apparatus.

There is provided the Koji substrate heaping-up apparatus 10 of a rotary disk solid cultivation apparatus 1 to heap up a Koji substrate 7 on the circular culture bed 2. The apparatus is provided with a controlling mechanism 12 to reciprocate a transfer conveyor 5 on the circular culture bed 2 while transferring the Koji substrate 7 by the belt 9 of the transfer conveyor 5 and dropping the substrate on the circular culture bed 2, adjust the belt speed of the belt 9, and control the dropping quantity determined by the belt speed and the cross-sectional area at the dropping end 11 of the Koji substrate on the belt 9.
