Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the captioned apparatus wherein heat is applied to the undersurface of usual paper on which powder ink is applied to effect the recording, and the ink unused is readily removed from the paper and reused, thereby a record excellent in the quality with respect to storability and hard to falsify is obtained at low cost.

CONSTITUTION: The powder ink 9 is applied from a hopper 23 onto the recording paper 11. The recording paper 11 is sent out through driving rollers 27, and the powder ink 9 in contact with the recording paper 11 is heated from the undersurface of the paper 11 by a thermal head 24 to effect the recording. The ink that has not been used in the printing is scraped up by a cleaning brush 25 that is located down stream of the movement of the paper 11 and is rotated in a direction shown by an arrow, and then the ink on the brush 25 is scraped by a blade 26 and reused. In this arrangement, as the recording paper, common paper can be used, the ink that has not been used can be used again without any recovering apparatus, and sharp record that is excellent in the long storability and hard to falsify can be a obtained.
