Abstract:
To replace contact plates of an apparatus for heating a thermally deformable film web in a packaging equipment in a particularly simple manner.
This apparatus 10 for heating a thermally deformable film web 1 has contact plates 12 which are brought into contact with the film web 1. Means for heating the contact plates 12 are formed by using, for example, infrared ray radiators 15 so that the contact plates 12, which are worn in some degree, can be simply replaced. By indirectly heating the contact plates 12, an uncomplicated structure of the apparatus 10 and simple handling of the same can be achieved.
