Abstract:
PURPOSE: To realize a hooping apparatus which quickly and reliably works at a low cost.
CONSTITUTION: A hooping region in the apparatus for hooping a package is defined by a final state of a band 13 in contact with the package and tensioned and extends in a conveying direction. A band guide frame in a form of a plane rectangular frame 3, 5 is provided to be intersect with the hooping region at an acute angle. A coupling head has a fixed device for fixing and coupling the band and for cutting a feed band and a separate rotating device 8 for inserting and pulling-back of the band. A rotary shaft of the rotating device 8 lies on a vertical line passing through an intersection of the hooping region and the band guide frame. While the rotating device 8 is in a frame region when the band 13 is inserted into the band guide frame, it rotates into the hooping region at the time of or before the pulling-back of the band.
