CONSTITUTION: The outlet of the catalyst layer of each of the reaction towers 6, 7, 71, and 8 is equipped with a heat-exchanger 41, 42, 43 or 44 for the recovery of the reaction heat. The reaction heat generated in the catalyst layer of each of the reaction towers 6, 7, 71 and 8 is recovered with the heat exchanger 41W44 using stock oil 1, supplied hydrogen gas 2 and recycling hydrogen gas 3 as the heat exchange media, whereby the temperature at the inlet of the catalyst layer of the downstream reaction towers 7, 71, 8 and 81 are controlled.
EFFECT: The reaction heat can be recovered effectively, and the load of the stock oil heating furnace 5 can be reduced.
