To provide an apparatus for the hydrothermal continuous conversion of a hardly crushable waste into oil without particularly increasing the cost and dispensing with a complicate operations by continuously performing a series of operations including crushing process in a closed system.
This apparatus is provided with a hardly crushable waste supplying apparatus 1, a crushing apparatus 2 for crushing the supplied hardly crushable waste with a water jet, a pump 4 to supply a mixture of water and the granular hardly crushable waste discharged from the crushing apparatus 2, a tube reactor 7 to decompose the supplied mixture into an oil under supercritical hydrothermal conditions, an oil separator 9 to separate the oil from the mixture discharged from the tube reactor 7 and an oil reservoir 10 to store the separated oil. The water discharged from the oil separator 9 after the separation of the coil is introduced into the crushing apparatus 2 and used as the water jet for crushing.
