Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a device for controllably discharging medicine which is transplantable in the eye and orbita by preparing an implant which is filled with the medicine which can be diffused through the paries due to the osmosis of biodegradable high molecules and is made of a cocoon of high molecules as a ring which has a slightly larger diameter than a diameter of a glass body spatium and is shaped like character C in advance. CONSTITUTION: A plunger 56 is provided at a first end of a cannula 46 of an introducer 42, a piston 54 which is provided and protrudes in the plunger 56 is extended into a passage of the cannula 46, and an implant 44 which is arranged in front of the piston 54 and contains medicine is discharged from the cannula 46 due to the movement of the piston 54 which is relative to the cannula 46. The cannula 46 is inserted into an opening of the eye to discharge medicine in the eye and orbita by the control, and the implant 64 is transplanted into the eye. Here, the implant 46 is formed by biodegradable high molecules having the medicine, and the medicine is discharged by the biodegradation of the high molecules. The implant 44 becomes like character C after it is implanted.
