Title:
APPARATUS FOR IMPROVING OPERABILITY OF SNOWBOARD AND THE BOARD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003250949
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To solve the structural problem of a conventional snowboard that the movement performance of the board is deteriorated though body balance is stabilized when taking a wide stance and that body balance is unstable though the movement performance of the board is improved when taking a narrow stance.

Since loading points to the board are concentrated to a single place near a center part, the board is easily and naturally bent. As a result, operation performance such as sliding performance, rotation performance is sharply improved. (a) An apparatus of a claim 1 is fitted to a board of a claim 2. (b) Conventional snowboard bindings are fitted to both ends of the apparatus of the claim 1. (c) The bindings to be fitted onto the apparatus of the claim 1 can be adjusted to have a stance width and a direction suited to a user himself/herself like before. A method for using this is completely equal to for the conventional snowboard.
