Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for improving soil/sand with reduced cost for improvement.SOLUTION: In the apparatus for improving soil/sand, soil/sand S1 to be improved is brought into contact with the surface of a screen 21 using a wedge wire 22 and having a slit width L3 of 5 to 75 μm; further, the screen 21 is vibrated at a frequency of 50 to 200 Hz; and in addition, a suction force is exerted on the soil/sand S1 from the back side of the screen 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
