PURPOSE: To rapidly and certainly inspect the display grade of a liquid crystal display panel 11 before the loading of a driver IC and to prevent the loss of the driver IC.
CONSTITUTION: A drive signal 30 is inputted to the signal input terminal of a liquid crystal display panel 11 from an inspection signal generation circuit 3 to drive the liquid crystal display panel 11 and a predetermined display image for inspecting display grade is displayed. A projector 4 is arranged on the rear side of the liquid crystal display panel 11 and the display screen of the liquid crystal display panel 11 is projected on a screen 7 through a reflecting mirror 5 and a lens 6 in predetermined magnification and the projected image is subjected to the inspection of the display grade of the liquid crystal display panel 11.
