Abstract:

PURPOSE: To measure while a predetermined local part of a test body is kept at a high temperature and a high pressure and the water environment is maintained under predetermined conditions, by mounting a measuring means at a part of the test body of a structure and locally measuring properties of the test body.

CONSTITUTION: A container 11 of a measuring means 10 has a cylindrical main body 11a and a flange 11b. The flange 11b is held in touch with one side face of a test body 1, so that the interior of the container 11 is in a sealed state by a supporting ring 12 and a packing 13. A clamping means 20 at the other side face of the test body 1 holds the test body 1 with a predetermined pressure along with the container 11 by a contact member 21 and a driving means 22. Moreover, an environment-setting means 30 set at the container 11 sets the interior of the container 11 at a high temperature and a high pressure to bring a measuring part of the test body 1 under predetermined environmental conditions. Further, the water having the pressure, temperature, flow velocity, etc., restricted is supplied from a water inlet/outlet 30a to the measuring part of the test body 1 thereby to maintain the water environment at predetermined conditions. A properties-detecting means set in the container 11 measures properties of the test body 1, e.g. whether a crack is generated or the crack grows, etc., electrically, mechanically or optically.
