PURPOSE: To perform good vacuum seal, in a liquid specimen inroducing apparatus suitable for using in analysing a specimen solution separated by liquid chromatograph by a mass analytical apparatus, by a method wherein a seal mechanism is provided to the passage of an introducing belt and a protective belt covering a specimen on the introducing belt is provided.
CONSTITUTION: A seal mechanism 26 is provided to the first stage slit 14 provided to a partition wall 14a partitioning an atmospheric part 15 and a vacuum region 15a and an introducing belt 6 and a protective belt 27 are passed through the seal mechanism 26 in such a state that both belts 6, 27 are contacted under pressure by seal rollers 28, 29 provided to the atmospheric part 15 and the vacuum region 15a. The protective belt 27 is connected in an endless state so as to be passed through the cleaning tank 31 provided to the atmospheric part 15 through the other seal mechanism 30 provided to the vacuum region 15a. The introducing belt 6 is connected in an endless state so as to pass through a cleaning tank 32 provided to the atmospheric part 15. A numeral 33 shows a matrix introducing pipe.
